I am passionate about languages. During my bachelors in teaching French as a second language, I deepened my knowledge with the help of didactics courses, the history of languages, etc. I love the opportunity to put my talents and passions to work by getting involved at Centre Toussaint.

I was born in Port-au-Prince. I have developed a greater appreciation for Haitian cuisine and culture since I moved to New York to pursue my science studies at university. You don't know what you have until it's gone. I love the opportunity to connect people with the culture.

Language brings people together, identifies them, exposes their history and culture. It is with this in mind that I make my contribution to Centre Toussaint on a voluntary basis. I hope that the precious Haitian heritage — the language as well as the culture — will become more accessible and be passed onto future generations.
